About Our Sports & Athlete Consulting Service
Our 4-month athlete consulting service includes an initial 1-hour check at Human Strength Hub in London or Guildford with our experienced nutrition and exercise consultant. Following this, you will receive a 30-minute on-site check-in at one of the HSH gyms every 3 to 4 weeks and ongoing email support throughout the program.

A training program
HSH skinfold measurement analysis during onsite check-in (in person only)
The training program is implemented in your home gym studio or training facility of choice.
No matter your specific goals – whether it’s running faster, jumping higher, returning from an injury or losing weight – there are always two non-specific goals we follow:

These are independent of your actual goals. That’s because the more energy you have and the better you sleep, the easier it is to achieve your targets.
HSH Skinfold Measurement Analysis & Blood Lab testing interpretation
“What gets measured gets managed!”
During the consultation, we will perform an HSH skinfold measurement analysis (AKA SMA) to precisely determine your body fat value. There will be the option for blood lab testing interpretation using the functional medicine approach and onsite non-invasive blood marker device measurements. These measure glucose using the Continued Glucose monitor device (AKA CGM) and Hb1Ac using the A1cNow device. Note: both devices are an extra investment cost.
We can understand and distinguish your hormone balance and health by measuring the 13 skin folds and interpreting your blood lab results. Since the hormone balance controls many functions in the body, the skinfold measurement gives the athletic consultant an initial answer to a number of questions.
When it comes to nutrition, we follow a step-by-step approach.
This is easier, more efficient and more sustainable. This means we change one meal per appointment (every 3-4 weeks).
It always starts with breakfast. Changing a meal is enough to make excellent progress. And on future appointments, lunch, dinner, and snacks will follow. This approach enables constant and sustainable success.

Health Supplement Recommendation
As the name suggests, dietary supplements are intended to complement your diet—by using vitamins, minerals, algae and plant herbs. You will receive a supplement recommendation based on your measurement and blood lab results to reach your goal faster.
These dietary supplements are produced and manufactured exclusively for Human Performance Hub, fuelled by Designs For Health, to ensure the highest possible quality.
Each formula has been coordinated and developed with the help of biochemists and sports physicians being back by science.
Whether fat reduction, muscle or strength building, we create the right training plan for you. After each follow-up, a new training program with be designed to ensure the best possible progress.
Every repetition of every set will be coached, ensuring perfect technique and optimum results. Having the full attention of a trainer for every second of every workout will ensure that we get the maximum out of your body.

Can I test the online training?
Since online coaching is month-to-month biased, you can cancel in the first month. You are not bound for months and can test the online coaching.
What equipment do I need for training?
You need the following equipment, which every regular gym has, to run the training programs:
Squat Rack / Stand
Barbell and Plates
Flat / Adjustable bench
Cable pull/pulley attachment
With ongoing coaching, other equipment, such as a leg curl and 45° back extension machine, can also be part of the program, but we will coordinate this individually.

Is HSH suitable for all genders?
Yes. All genders can traverse it. The HSH Online Coaching Team adjusts the programs and recommendations mainly based on the current status and goals.
Are the training programs adapted to my individual needs?
Yes. Whether fat loss, muscle building or any other goal that can be achieved through strength training, our HSH Online Coaching Team carefully selects the training programs based on your current status and personal goals.

How are the training programs individualised and adjusted without the in-person HSH Skinfold Measurement Analysis?
The in-person HSH skinfold measurement analysis (AKA SMA) focuses on nutrition and health supplementation (Vitamin, Minerals, Agle and Plant Herbs).
The in-person HSH skinfold measurement has very little influence on training planning. We cover many more critical factors in online coaching, such as muscular balance, training progress and exercise execution.
Is there an assessment before the start of the program?
The first block of training programs you receive is an assessment block. We get insight into your muscular balance, work capacity, and neuromuscular development. This enables us to tailor the programs more individually and specifically to you permanently.
Does Roan carry out the coaching personally?
Yes, Roan will look after the HSH online coaching programming.
Is it possible to have an in-person or online consult with Roan?
Yes, it is possible; this can be added as an extra to your online coaching program. You will have the choice of two investment options 1h or 30min. Cost is determined by time. This consult can be done before each new training block.

What is a black training program, and how long does this last?
A block of training programs consists of four consecutive phases that last 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the training frequency. Each block is therefore designed for 12 to 16 weeks.
Why is a Training block used?
Each block is designed to achieve specific training goals. Rarely is a single phase of 3 to 4 weeks sufficient to accomplish these goals. That’s why we always plan periodic training programs in blocks of 4 training programs.
Do I have to go through every training block before the next one?
Some, but not all, will complete all four workouts in a training block before moving on to the next training block. Depending on the individual progress in the training, the coach can also decide to switch to a new block earlier, unlike in school, where you invest a year in each class. Our HSH online coaching always moves to the next block based on the current status.
How is the execution of the exercise coached?
You send us videos of your regular training in which you perform an exercise. And we give you feedback on every video to optimise your exercise execution. This way, we can coach you individually step by step and based on your biomechanics.
How often can I send photos to improve my exercise execution?
As often as you train. You are welcome to upload and send the videos of the hardest/last working set of all your exercises after each training session; then, we will look at the exercise and send you feedback on the execution.
Are there videos of each exercise?
Yes. We have a library of videos on how to perform each exercise of the programs. However, this is only a secondary tool from experience. We primarily focus on you sending us videos of how you do the exercises. This way, we can coach you individually step by step and based on your biomechanics.
Do I always have to train all 4 training blocks before switching to the next one?
This is entirely dependent on your progress. The progress in exercise execution and progress in training weights. Depending on these two factors, the YPSI Coaching Team decides whether we will change blocks before the end of a training block.
Can I combine the HSH online coaching with cardio, for example, cycling or running?
Yes. Online coaching focuses on strength training, which can also be supplemented with cardio. Depending on the volume and frequency of the cardio training, the strength training frequency can be adjusted. If you are unsure how many strength training sessions you should do in addition to cardio, email Info@humanhubltd.co.uk with an overview of your current cardio training. We will give you a recommendation.
I do CrossFit, is the HSH online coaching program designed for me?
Yes. The focus of online coaching is strength training. Crossfit is a discipline of its own. Strength training is an essential basis for CrossFit. Strength training is therefore crucial for development in CrossFit. Depending on your current status and goal, we recommend completing two to four strength training units per week in addition to CrossFit. Recovery will determine the outcome of progress in the HSH coaching program.
Is HSH online programming suitable for rugby, football and other sports?
Yes. The focus of online coaching is strength training. Strength training is an essential basis for all sports. Depending on the current status and the training frequency in the sport, we recommend completing two to four units of strength training per week in addition to this. If you are unsure how many strength training units you should do in addition to your sport, then email us an email at Info@humanhubltd.co.uk with an overview of your current training week, and we will give you a recommendation.
I am injured. Can I do the HSH online training program?
These are a few scenarios where we do not offer an online coaching program. If you’re injured, go through rehab with a qualified physical therapist. You can start online coaching with us as soon as you get the ok from your physio to do strength training again.
Can I eat oatmeal for breakfast?
Yes, that is possible., For 15% of the world’s population. Feel free to read the article “Why does a good breakfast benefit my health?” And adapt your breakfast individually to the recommendation there.
Can I include the HSH skinfold measurement analysis results in the online coaching?
Suppose you are based in the Uk as the HSH skinfold measurement analysis will be done in person. Then yes, it is possible; this can be added as an extra to your online coaching program. You will have the choice of two investment options 1h or 30min. Cost is determined by time. This can be done before each new training block or when it is best suited.
If you are not based in the Uk, let us know where you are, and we will be able to find a licensed trainer in your area.
I am a vegetarian. Can I follow the recommendations of online coaching?
To meet your protein needs, you can use fish, seafood, eggs, amino drinks, protein shakes, and other vegetarian protein sources.
